My name is Sean Browning.

I was born in Toronto, Canada in the early 90s, with much of my childhood spent drawing, listening to music, and playing video games with my brothers and friends. During good times (and bad), video games were always a constant source of joy and inspiration to my imagination.

After graduating high school in 2011, I took it upon myself to pursue a career in video game design/development, as well as animation. After a few years, I’ve earned a Game Development Advanced Diploma, and a Game Design Post Grad Certificate at George Brown College since 2017.

For 8 years now, I’ve engaged in many internships, contract work, and freelance opportunities, offering my skills as a 2D artist, animator, and game developer. Much of my free time aside from any prior work, goes towards my own personal projects and ideas.

GAMES

I like designing retro-inspired games and prototypes for their simplicity and capacity for innovation despite technological constraints. I also take opportunities to work with game design, exploring gameplay, UI, and UX as my main focus.

ANIMATION

I’ve learned to animate in both 2D and 3D, but primarily pride myself on my 2D works, especially in regards to videogames. I’ve professionally been animating for a number of years, and continue to hone my craft as my means to express my ideas.

ART

I mix it up between raster and vector work in regards to animation or games. Much of my artwork shares the same retro aesthetic as I like to mockup game sprites, icons, and backgrounds. Especially if I can prototype them.
